Leiv It Or Love It Consignment was opened in September of 2018 in the heart of Lantzville, BC. The shop is locally owned and operated by the business’ founder, Tovè Ryan. The name of the store was inspired by Tovè’s daughter, named Leiv. 

Prior to opening her own store, she always loved consignment and thrift for the unique pieces and treasures. She hoped through opening a consignment shop, she could share her passion and allow her customers to find their own gems. By creating LIOLI, Tovè has made secondhand shopping accessible for people who don’t have the time to sift through the racks of a thrift store and those who don’t want to spend or can’t afford the prices of trendy clothing retailers. 

Tovè’s passion for her work gleams through her interactions with her customers and employees. Although she is not always at the store, the energy she fosters is carried through her staff, who support the store’s success. As a business owner, she builds a warm and welcoming work environment and shows genuine care for her staff’s well-being. The atmosphere that has been built at Leiv It Or Love It Consignment makes for a personable shopping experience that is difficult to find in larger, corporate businesses. 

Outside of the shop, Tovè spends most of her time with her family, girlfriends, and her pup. She is a very loving and involved single mother of her teenage daughter. Tovè is extremely active – she loves walking, running, mountain biking, and when in season, skiing. She has a German Shepard pup named Bruce who she brings along on all her adventures.
